Bio: I've been an observer of life for many years and as a mental health therapist, I was in a particularly good position to see it from many angles. A few years ago my health deteriorated and I am no longer able to work. This has had a profound impact on...everything! I see the world, and myself, very differently now. I am able to much more attuned with nature and I appreciate the little things that I missed in my hurried life before. My desire to share all of this is my way of giving back, in that someone else may come to slow down and appreciate all the little things also! Of course, there are a lot of questions, mostly large and unanswerable, that arise for me everyday. I will ask them also, feel free to comment and share, as I look for to hearing from you!

Nice to meet you through Triggershorse blog. I enjoyed your most recent post on being reclusive vs. selective. I can relate to that too. I’ve become much more of a home body over the last few years. I’m fine with hanging out at home where I feel most comfortable!

Thank you for visiting! I am so glad that you stopped by. Triggers horse is an awesome blog and I am so grateful to Fawn for mentioning me. I am glad you liked the post, it seems that as the days go by, it becomes easier to be in my comfort zone. I do think that I have to push myself outside of it sometimes though, just so I do not become reclusive. Since they “invented” online shopping, this could happen!

I love online shopping too. Shopping in stores just drains me so much. It’s my least favorite thing to do. In Korea, you can shop for groceries online and get them delivered to your door the same day. Very convenient! Great chatting with you!

Hi there !!! I just posted a story for the first time on Busy?Be and found your comment about planting hyacinths. you were responding to a story I had written that centered around my being revived by the surprise scent of sweet hyacinth. Thank you for commenting. I read your piece about being selective vs. reclusive. It sounds as if your doing this because of health challenges I gather yet I really value being selective and intentional. Maybe that’s one of the gifts that’s come of your health challenges. Bless you, your spirit, heart and body and keep being selective 🙂 Sincerely, Dawn Kirk

Yes, I did start being selective because of health reasons, however, I have learned that being selective is good for my soul. As with so many other things, my health challenges have taught me a lot about life and my true self. Some of it has been good and some I know I want to change, much like everyone else, I suppose. Thank you for the kind words and for visiting my blog!, Phyl

The ebb and flow of life…the beauty of life…the strength of character…the power of nature…the futility of resistance (to nature)…the wisdom to go with the flow and not fight every battle…and I just love that sound! I also like that I took the picture. And for you? Does the waterfall represent anything for you?
